Baek Jin Hee

South Korean actress

Baek Jin-hee (백진희), originally translated as Baek Jin-hee, was born on February 8, 1990 in Seoul, South Korea. She is a south Korean actress.

In 2008, Baek Jin-hee made her debut as an actress in the independent film "Searching for the One Who Sent Me".

In 2011, Baek Jin-hee won the Popularity Award in the Comedy category of the 2012 MBC Entertainment Awards for her role as the eponymous character Baek Jin-hee in the MBC daily sitcom "High Kick 3: The Short Leg Counterattack".

In 2013, she won the Best New Actress Award at the MBC Acting Awards for her roles in the MBC TV dramas "Gold, Come Out Easily" and "Queen Qi", and also received the Best New Actress Award in the TV category at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards for her role in "Queen Qi".

In April 2014, Baek Jin-hee participated in the SBS reality show "The Laws of the City - New York Episode". In June, she starred as Oh Jeong-hee in MBC's Monday-Tuesday drama "Triangle". In October, Baek Jin-hee starred as Han Eun-woo, a law school graduate and intern prosecutor, in MBC's Monday-Tuesday drama "Pride and Prejudice". She won the Best Female Performance Award in the Special Planning Department at the 2014 MBC Acting Awards for this role.

In July 2015, participated in the popular SBS variety show "Running Man"; In September, Baek Jin-hee starred as the lead character, Geum Seol, in MBC's weekend drama "My Daughter Geum Seol", and won the Top 10 Stars Award at the 2015 MBC Acting Awards and the Best Leading Actress Award at the 2016 Korean TV Drama Festival.
